Screen Shot 2014-06-04 at 12.27.18 PMFord is once again making news for their incredible vehicles. At Randall Reed’s Planet Ford in Spring (also serving The Woodlands, Cypress, Aldine, Conroe, and greater Houston) it comes as no surprise that several of their cars have made MSN Autos Small Vehicles for Road Tripping list.

First up, the 2015 Ford Focus. MSN Autos says, “it is an excellent car for a long drive.” MSN notes how well the Focus drives, stating that it tracks nicely on the highway, handles well in corners, and has a smooth ride. The available hatchback model provides up to 44.8 cubic feet of cargo storage. Not to mention, it will help you save at the pump along the way. The 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine delivers as much as 40 MPG/highway.

Then there is the 2014 Ford Escape. As any experienced road-tripper knows, cargo space is vital to a successful trek. With over 70 cubic feet of cargo space behind the driver, the 2014 Ford Escape delivers a perfect amount of space without giving up it’s sporty design. This compact crossover comes standard with a 1.6L engine that achieves over 31 mpg on the highways. With a great drive, spacious cabin and edgy design, the Escape makes the perfect vehicle for any long trip.

These two vehicles are ideal for any road trip! While the 2015 Focus is not yet released, you can find any 2014 Ford (including the Escape!) at Randall Reed’s Planet Ford in Spring (just off I-45). From the Mustang to the Fiesta and more, we’re here to help put you in the Ford of your dreams. See you soon!
