Ekstensive Metal Truck to Benefit Boots for Troops Watch Party

The Planet Ford team in Spring, Texas had a great time at the Texas Metal TV show watch party at District 249 Bar & Grill in Tomball that featured the 2018 customized Ford F-150 by Bill Carlton, owner of Ekstensive Metal Works.

The one-of-a-kind Ford F-150 was created in an effort to raise awareness and money for Boots For Troops. Planet Ford in Humble and Spring, Texas donated a new 2018 F-150 (currently on display at our sister-location in Humble) to be customized and featured on the TV show.

You now have the opportunity to purchase this custom F-150 and help benefit our U.S. deployed military. The Randall Reed family and Planet Ford is committed to standing behind our armed forces and the unique way that Boots for Troops helps those who serve.

They are proud to team up with Boots For Troops to help deliver American heroes. Many deployed men and women are unable to afford the cost to travel home to visit loved ones during the holidays. The Texas-based charity arranges it all through its holiday travel assistance program. The program pays for flights, so that soldiers can travel home to their loved ones for the holidays. Since the charity began, it has covered 74 trips for deserving service members and sent more than 700 custom care packages.
