We had so many favorites in the #PlanetFordWhisperer contest. It ultimately came down to five finalists with one being our Grand Prize Winner. We thought all of our finalists were winners, which is why they won a Grand Prize Pack, featuring various items like Houston Astros tickets, Delta Airlines giftcard, Golf prizes and more.

Hours counting down on chance to win $80,000 Dream Ford at Dealership Grand Opening

HOUSTON, TX – Randall Reed’s World Class Automotive Group is announcing the final days to enter the https://www.planetfordwhisperer.com contest taking place at the Grand Opening of the newly designed Planet Ford in Spring, Texas. A brand new Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 or Ford F-150 Raptor will be awarded to the grand prize winner at the event May 18, 2018.

While May 11, 2018 is the final day to enter to win the $80,000 Ford Shelby GT350 or Ford F-150 Raptor, Planet Ford Whisperer fans will have another chance to win one of these dream Ford vehicles starting May 14, 2018.

As a reminder, the contest allows contestants to submit a short written photo essay or video to PlanetFordWhisperer.com, in which they will share their Ford Whisperer tale. Tales can include content such as, why they think they can whisper too or how Planet Ford and Mr. Reed have helped them find their ideal Ford. The Planet Ford Whisperer contest is part of Owner Randall Reed’s new Ford Whisperer campaign created in celebration of a historic Ford first, every single World Class Automotive Ford dealership receiving the Ford Triple Crown in the same year and being the seventh inductee even into Ford’s Top Sales Volume Dealer Hall of Fame.

“We are thrilled to celebrate this unprecedented achievement of every independent dealer’s location earning Ford’s highest honor,” said Mr. Reed. Since the inception of the Triple Crown, only 78 dealers have ached the distinction, with less than half a percent winning it on an annual basis.

“This incredible accompaniment recognizes their well-deserved commitment to their communities, charities, customers, employees and Ford Motor Company,” said Dianne C. Craig, Director of U.S. Sales for Ford. “In total, our Ford stores have garnered this amazing honor 10 times, and it marks the 6th consecutive year for a Planet Ford location.”

For those who also submit a video or photo entry for the vehicle contest, the contestants are encouraged to share their videos on social media with #PlanetFordWhisperer and #FordWhisperer, and then go tell their friends to vote, like and share! A panel of judges will select the finalists from whom the grand prize winner will be selected.  Everyone who registers at the site will be placed into a weekly drawing for a Ford Ambassador Prize Pack.

At the grand opening of the Planet Ford in Spring, TX, on May 18th, 2018, Mr. Reed will announce the Grand Prize winner and hand over the keys to his or her choice of the new $80,000 Ford. The winner must be present to win. The celebration will be a host of family-friendly activities and live entertainment, including dueling ice carvers and music headlined by Little Texas. Congratulations to the Spring ISD Teacher of the Year!

Every year, the Planet Ford and Randall Reed family are excited to be part of a special celebration to honor the best of Spring’s Independent School District.

Congratulations to Ladell Whitfield, the 2018 Spring ISD Elementary Teacher of the Year! Shawn Burns, GM/OP from #PlanetFord and Randall Reed, presented Whitfield with the award yesterday. She will have her choice between a new Ford Fusion or Escape from #PlanetFord45.

And congrats to Diane Moretti, who was also a huge winner of a dream, all-expense paid cruise, also courtesy of the #RandallReed family and #PlanetFord in Spring.

This was one of three giveaways from Planet Ford this year. The other two Fords will be awarded at the May 18th Grand Opening of Planet Ford in Spring. Planet Ford Awarding Car to 2017/2018 Spring ISD Teacher of the Year

Planet Ford in Spring, TX and the Randall Reed family are excited to be part of a special celebration on May 2, 2018 to honor the best of Spring Independent School District’s best. This year, two of the top educators of the 2017/2018 will be recognized and one will receive a Ford dream ride courtesy of Planet Ford and the Reed family. Shawn Burns, Operating Partner/General Manager of Planet Ford, located on I-45, will have the pleasure of announcing the winners and awarding one with the keys to their choice of a new Ford Escape SUV or Ford Fusion sedan. The other top educator will win a all-expense paid cruise also courtesy of Planet Ford and the Reeds.

This is the fourth year that Planet Ford has had the pleasure of helping to celebrate area educators during the Spring ISD Employee Recognition Banquet. Meet some of our prior winners, Robert Silvy (left) drove away in a new Ford Escape.  Tamia McEwen (right) was awarded a Carnival Preferred Awards Plus all-expense paid cruise for two to the Bahamas.

“Our local educators do so much, often going above and beyond the call of duty,” said Mr. Burns. “This is a special honor that Planet Ford and our team is happy to do to celebrate and thank our teachers for they do. We are looking forward to surprising these leading educators and delivering their Ford’tastic prizes.”

Owner Randall Reed, owner, agrees, “These educator are at the heart of shaping our community,” he said. “They do more than just educate our young people, they are instrumental in molding these young people lives, which ultimately has an impact on everyone’s futures. We are pleased that we can recognize their lifetime work by fulfilling a dream of a lifetime with a new Ford and well-earned exotic getaway.”

Spring Independent School District’s Teacher of the Year program recognizes outstanding educators for their commitment to excellence in education. Each year, every Spring ISD school selects a campus Teacher of the Year. Those winners are then invited to submit materials to a committee to be considered as a finalist for the district’s Teacher of the Year program. From there, the selection committee chooses two educators to represent the district.

Spring ISD Employee Recognition Banquet will be held at the Hilton at 12400 Greenspoint Drive in Houston, TX. The event begins at 6 p.m. and the presentation will take place sometime before 7:30 p.m.

This will be one of three giveaways from Planet Ford this year. The other two Fords will be awarded at the May 18th Grand Opening of Planet Ford in Spring. J.D. Power 2018 Dealer of Excellence for the Customer Sales Experience

Demonstrating its commitment to exceeding customer expectations, Planet Ford in Spring, Texas has been certified in the J.D. Power 2018 Dealer of Excellence ProgramSM, which recognizes a select number of vehicle dealerships throughout the United States that provide exceptional customer service.

“This certification sets us apart, especially coming from such an authority as J.D. Power,” said Randall Reed, owner of Planet Ford. “We are incredibly proud as this is a difficult recognition to achieve. We have garnered it at all of our World Class Automotive Ford and Lincoln locations. In addition, we have done so in tandem with the historic first of aching the Ford Triple Crown at every one of my Ford locations in the same year.”

D’Trajon Moore Planet Ford Scholarship Recipient

Planet Ford in Spring believes in supporting our kids and their futures. Each year, the Reed family and Planet Ford are proud to work with area schools to identify a special scholarship recipient. This year, our team surprised D’Trajon Moore with a check for $5,000 to use towards college.

He will graduate from Carl Wunsche, Sr. High School in June and continue his education at Bunn College. He plans to obtain a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and specialize in mental health disorders. We were excited and honored to present D’Trajon with this award. On behalf of Planet Ford, we wish you the best of luck as you start a new chapter in your life and transition to college life. Congratulations D’Trajon!
