Planet Ford located off I-45 in Spring, Texas is proud to be recognized as a partner of the Light Up To Live Foundation.
The Light Up To Live Foundation is a non-profit charity dedicated to assisting military men and women in active duty and those returning home. The foundation offers monitory support, medical consultation and life changing assistance to those suffering with conditions such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
Planet Ford is a big supporter of the Light Up To Live’s mission and our First Responders, they believe in standing behind those who work to serve our country and community, and try to give back every way they can. The mission to assist Veterans began with a documentary called Light Up to Live: The Movie. It reveals insights into the lives of American Veterans who struggle with numerous battlefield injuries, the drug-free options they can utilize and their journey to regain hope and health.
Planet Ford has provided support to the upcoming Light Up To Live Valor weekend of events.
The Light Up to Live 2018 Valor Charity Events:
Light Up To Live has partnered up with Operation Rock the Troops for a trifecta weekend of events, the Valor Events will be taking place September 21-22, 2018. The weekend of events includes:
- Valor Golf Tournament at the Cowboys Golf Club located at 1600 Fairway Dr. in Grapevine, Texas, on September 21
- Valor Clay Shoot Tournament at the Elm Fork Shooting Sports Range located at 10751 Luna Rd. Dallas, Texas on September 22
- Valor Black-Tie Ball At the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center located on 1501 Gaylord Trail in Grapevine, Texas, on September 22
These events are raising awareness and funds to support the rehabilitation and medical needs of our military Veterans returning home after active duty.
