Planet Ford in Spring, Texas congratulates the latest Planet Ford Whisperer grand prize contest winner, Jesse Gutierrez, for his winning video entry featuring his son, Little Jesse. In the video, Little Jesse calls for Randall Reed, the Ford Whisperer to help him raise awareness for childhood cancer.
Mr. Gutierrez’s son, Jesse, has been in remission for two years as of this September. Thus, the family hoped to help promote September being Childhood Cancer Awareness Month by creating the Planet Ford Whisperer video. The family now plans to use the new Ford F-150 to help with a foundation the family is creating called Jesse’s Fight Club, to transport items for local hospitals and help families with children battling cancer.
Planet Ford Announcement Celebration
The announcement and celebration of the #PlanetFordWhisperer finalist and grand prize winner was held at our Planet Ford sister store in Humble this past Saturday. The 10 “starring” finalists were brought up to share their Planet Ford Whisperer entries. Some of the contest entries included: a Ford crime fighter, a man who loved Ford so much he became a car, a Ford’tastic fire fighter, Ford Whisperer rappers and kids who love their Fords as much as their parents do.
The Ford Whispering contestants entered by registering at PlanetFordWhisperer.com, where they submitted a video or photo essay of their own Ford Whisperer tale. Once an entry was submitted, contestants gained more attention by sharing on social media with the #PlanetFordWhisperer and #FordWhisperer hashtags and by getting friends and family to vote.

This is the second dream Ford giveaway contest. In May, Randall Reed “The Ford Whisperer” gave away two dream Fords as part of the Planet Ford in Spring Grand Opening. Michael Page drove home with a Ford Shelby GT350, while Liz Aronson won the Ford F-150 Raptor.
The Planet Ford Whisperer contest is part of Mr. Reed’s Ford Whisperer campaign created in celebration of a historic Ford first: every single World Class Automotive Ford dealership receiving the Ford Triple Crown in the same year. In addition, the family-owned dealership is celebrating Mr. Reed being the seventh inductee ever into Ford’s Top Sales Volume Dealer Hall of Fame.

Craig, Director of U.S. Sales for Ford.
