It is much like the handy-dandy cruise control that you use on the highway, but this is spec for all your off-road adventures.
How Trail Control Works
The new Ford feature will manage throttle and braking so the driver can focus on steering through a variety of challenging off-road conditions. This is the kind of innovation that will make taking a Raptor out into rough terrain more fun than ever.

The Ford Raptor is the only pickup that will let drivers operate Trail Control in all 4×4 modes. The new feature helps overcome steep obstacles by automatically directing torque to each wheel then braking to smoothly bring the truck down on the other side.

The upgraded 2019 Ford F-150 Raptor is scheduled to be available in late 2018. More great news for Ford Ranger fans, word is that Trail Control also will be available on the all-new 2019 Ranger, arriving in dealer showrooms in early 2019.
